Richie Pollack

Richie Pollack is Regina’s “cross-harp ambassador”. Having cut his teeth over the past fifteen years or so with some of the best in the biz , Richie has come into his own and is ready to take the diatonic harmonica (aka-blues harp) to the next level!

Nominated for The Western Canadian Music Award for outstanding blues recording in 2006; Harmonica Player of The Year and inductee in the CBMA Hall of Fame 2008 & 2009, Richie is looking forward to blowin’ your mind with what he can do with the ‘ole “tin sandwich”.

Joining Richie this Festival season (‘tis the season to be “blue” right?) is an all-star cast of hometown favourites: Mike Thompson on the drums and Shawn Patton on bass. Challenging style and stereotype, Richie & company simply can’t wait for the downbeat of this year’s festival.
